my loving and very dear friend furhan surprised me by upgrading our tickets to row 5 centre (floor!) holllla

cook:

2 tbsp. olive oil

1 onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, chopped

chop & add:

3 carrots

2 stalks celery

½ red pepper

½ green pepper

1 zucchini

as much broccoli as you want

peas

bunch of spinach, chopped

1 can chick peas

1 can black beans

1 can lentils

1 large can chopped tomatoes

about 2 tbsp. HOT curry paste

like a dove, my sweet grandma passed with grace last saturday.

she was one of the strongest, most creative and extraordinary women that i have met and i will miss her so much.

lately it feels more like fall than summer in winnipeg

i wake up every morning at 5:30am for work and it's freezing.

she's darling and making many appearances on my latest playlists

my grandma is in the hospital right now and about 2% alive

we will lose her any second.minute.hour.day now

i feel like there is a hole in my family

such is life

i just went for my first run in forever long. seeing her suffer and fade away has forced me to detox

to try and take care of my body better

and live a healthier lifestyle

i am quite healthy already - but there's always room for improvement non?

lets just say....the run was painful

day by day = improvement.

i have not blogged in months.

i'm not really sure why? i just stopped doing it..

many things to update on..

a) i moved into a new apartment. the neurls were uprooted and re-adjusted. they did not like such things. photos to come.

b) i am not going to kuwait anymore. i got a job in winnipeg that is so fantastic, i am blessed x 100 to have it...therefore i cannot give it up at the moment.

c) i'm now blogging on a mac! ecstatic!
